God is holy, righteous, and the Creator of all things. Yet every one of us has sinned and deserves God's righteous judgment because of our sin.

Why do I need Jesus?
We have all sinned and fall short of God’s glory (Romans 3:23), and our sin separates us from a holy and righteous God (Isaiah 59:2). Jesus Christ, God’s eternal Son, lived a sinless life, died on the cross to pay the penalty for our sins, and rose bodily on the third day (1 Corinthians 15:3–4). He alone reconciles us to God and gives complete forgiveness and eternal life to everyone who repents and believes in Him (John 14:6; Acts 4:12).
Isn’t being a good person enough?
No one can earn right standing with God through personal morality or religious rituals, because even our best deeds cannot erase past sin before a perfectly holy God. Scripture declares: “For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast” (Ephesians 2:8–9; see also Titus 3:5).
Can God really forgive my past?
Yes — no sin is beyond the reach of God’s saving mercy in Christ. Jesus promised, “the one who comes to Me I will by no means cast out” (John 6:37). The moment you turn to Him in repentance and faith, your sins are washed away by His blood and you become a brand-new creation: “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new” (2 Corinthians 5:17).
How do I put my faith in Jesus?
Coming to Jesus Christ is an honest response of your heart to God:
- Admit your need: Acknowledge that you have sinned against God and need His saving mercy (Romans 3:23).
- Repent of sin: Be willing to turn away from sin and follow God’s ways (Mark 1:15; Acts 3:19).
- Believe in Christ: Trust that Jesus Christ died on the cross for your sins and rose bodily from the grave (Romans 5:8; 1 Corinthians 15:3–4).
- Call on Him as Lord: Confess Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior in prayer and receive His Holy Spirit (Romans 10:9–13; John 1:12).
How can I be sure I’m saved?
Your assurance rests on God’s unchanging Word, not on shifting emotions. Romans 10:13 promises: “For ‘whoever calls on the name of the LORD shall be saved.’” And 1 John 5:13 says: “These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life.”
What happens after I believe?
A lifelong, Spirit-filled walk with Christ begins. As you read God’s Word daily, pray, obey Jesus in water baptism (Acts 2:38; Matthew 28:19–20), and fellowship in a Bible-teaching local church, the Holy Spirit transforms your life. Jesus also promised the baptism in the Holy Spirit — power from on high to live a holy life and be His witness (Acts 1:8; Luke 11:13).
