Scripture & Context

Understand

Read Mark 4:35–41 with a trusted adult. While Jesus and His disciples were crossing the sea, a storm threatened their boat. Jesus commanded the wind and sea, and the storm became calm. His disciples were amazed at His authority.

As you color, think about the disciples' question concerning who Jesus is. The point is His power and the call to faith, not a promise that drawing or coloring will make every fear disappear. The boat scene is an original interpretive illustration, not a photograph or an exact reconstruction of the event.

Talk with your trusted adult about something you noticed in the passage. You can ask God for help and seek safe support when you feel afraid.

Pause & Consider

Reflect

What frightened the disciples?
What happened when Jesus spoke?
What does the account help you understand about Him?
