Understand

John introduces Jesus as the eternal Word who is God and became truly human (John 1:1–18). The first disciples respond to His invitation and begin to recognize who He is (John 1:35–51). The risen Jesus meets Thomas, and John explains that his testimony calls readers to believe in Jesus Christ and receive life in His name (John 20:24–31). Read these passages to know Christ, respond to Him in faith and consider how His truth shapes your daily life.
