Which labeled picture shows a boat?
Boat
The boat picture shows an object used in the account. Read what Mark records about Jesus and His disciples; this illustration does not reconstruct the historical boat. Read: Mark 4:35–41

Reading guidance & reflection
Understand
Read Mark 4:35–41 with a trusted adult. A great storm frightened the disciples, but Jesus commanded the wind and sea and brought calm. His authority led them to ask who He was. A boat picture can help you remember where the disciples encountered His power.
In Luke 11:33–36, Jesus uses a lamp to teach about light and how we receive it. Read His words before thinking about the picture. The labels and drawings are learning aids, not Scripture quotations or exact reconstructions of the events.
As you identify the pictures, ask what each passage teaches about Jesus and receiving His word. Your answers are practice; Jesus Christ and His saving work are the basis of Christian hope.
Reflect
What happened when Jesus spoke to the storm?
What question did the disciples ask about Him?
What does Jesus teach through the lamp illustration?
Live
Read one passage together, then identify its pictured object. Tell your trusted adult one thing the passage teaches about Jesus. Practice at your own pace, keep personal details private and use Reset practice on a shared device.
