Get a trusted adult to help safely.
Care is practical. A child should get a trusted adult and appropriate help, rather than handle danger alone. Jesus’ parable teaches mercy; it does not tell children to put themselves at risk. Read: Luke 10:25–37

Tell the truth and ask how to make things right.

Scripture & Context

Understand

Jesus teaches love for God and our neighbor in Luke 10:25–37. In the good Samaritan parable, compassion becomes practical care for a wounded man. Jesus calls His hearer to show mercy. A child can practice wise care by seeking trusted adult help when someone may be hurt.

Ephesians 4:25–32 teaches believers to speak truthfully, work honestly, use helpful words and show kindness and forgiveness. If you make a mistake, tell the truth and seek a responsible way to put it right. The scenarios below are clearly fictional practice, not events or dialogue from the Bible.

Kindness and honesty grow from following Christ. They do not mean hiding harm or handling danger alone; ask a trusted safe adult for help when needed.
